Today I want to share with you a French recipe
which is amazingly good and so easy! This cake is tasteful and so dense, you
won’t regret if you try it!
For a 9
inch pan (23 cm):
- 200 gr of good quality chocolate
- 110 gr of room temperature butter
- 220 gr of granulated sugar
- 3 teaspoons of flour
- 6 eggs yolks
- 6 eggs whites
- A pinch of salt
Melt the chocolate in the
microwave or on a double boiler. When the chocolate is all melted, add the
pieces of butter and mix well.
Add the granulated sugar,
flour and eggs yolks, mixing between each addition.
In a spate bowl, beat the eggs
whites until stiff peaks. Then mix your eggs whites in the chocolate batter
very gently because you do not want to deflate them.
Gently spread the batter into
your baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes or until the top of the cake is
set. The cake must be dense and not over cooked.
Baking Tip: you can serve this cake
with homemade whipped cream or good quality ice cream.
